Question No. 08 1 min read

What is the difference between mold and mildew?

Mildew is usually a surface-level, flat, white or gray growth found on damp surfaces like shower tile or window sills, and it wipes away fairly easily. Mold is typically darker, can be fuzzy or slimy, and often grows into the material itself, not just on the surface. If you are not sure which you are dealing with, an inspection will tell you.
